#yegbike commute: warm at +19°C with medium southwest winds.
Traffic weekday medium and maximum annoying, street life out and about. Paths medium busy, bikes abound.
Not a bad riding day.
#earworm is unfortunately still ‘Coward Of The County’ still playing in my head since it was played at work yesterday afternoon. Do I want a song about rape, revenge, and at least grevious bodily harm in my head? No, I do not. It’s not hard to understand.
#yegbike commute: even though the temperature is +15°C, feels hot and humid in the early morning. Winds are light, skies still grey.
Traffic light but weird & annoying, street life medium, paths surprisingly busy.
A bit of a melancholic morning, sorry not to be at the Folk Fest, but the kid is holding up the fort. Hope they are having a good time.

#yegbike commute: neutral temperature of +15°C with light but gusty northwest winds in grey slightly rainy skies.
Traffic surprisingly light, street fairly subdued, only a few walkers on the paths.
Not a bad ride overall, but construction zones require mindfulness with clay mud acting like ice for little tires.
There was an argument going on at a 7-11 parking lot on 97th street, was tempted to calm things down with today’s #earworm ‘We Can Work It Out’, The Beatles.
But I left it alone, just had the song playing in my head.

Traffic medium busy, street life very active - Boyle Street was like the daytime.
Paths surprisingly busy, and quite a few other bikes about.
#earworm served up ‘6 Months In A Leaky Boat’ by Split Enz. No idea why the memory bank served that up. At least I love that one.
Woke up with the song Coconut by Harry Nilsson in my head, after not hearing it for about 10 years or more.

Street life largely absent, paths mostly empty. Road construction continues.

Legit, the worst side effect of being on Jardiance is having that goddamn jingle stuck in your head.
#yegbike commute: crazy warm at +20°C, with light southeastern winds. Traffic light, but the few cars were driving way too fast. At 6am?
Street life present and shouty, joggers and dog walkers out on the paths.
These fantastic mornings are sometimes too great, as one still needs to be mindful of running reds and stop signs.

What a gorgeous ride this morning, if saddened by the passing of the seasons. But enjoying this while it lasts. More ghosts as passing through the same areas I pass through decades ago.
