@CTGT and I enjoyed watching Carolina Chickadee parents come and go from building their nest in a tree scrag; a fitting moment during our Mother’s Day hike.
Reviewing my week of photos, and found a little more of my STAR GOOSE. It must be getting close to hatching time, as she adds some straw and twigs to shape the nest bigger
I CAUGHT HER!
I study the nest every day. I walk slowly to check on Mom, but she never seems to leave the nest.
This is not the second Gander below. That's the mother eating, my photo shoot (just downloaded from camera) shows the nest is vacant. First time I've seen that.
She's a star. I have some video too.
