I'm on track for #P1e #Ustalav this Saturday (10 May).

The party's medium 2/inquisitor 1 oread will be busy with an 8 hour ritual during the full moon. (Player is unavailable but planned to do the ritual already.)

My plan is to have other party members encounter something #werewolf themed during the full moon. The rogue 3 halfling has the werewolf hunter background and a bunch of silver, so it's about time they met #werewolves in combat.

I have house rules that any demon may do (a weak form of) possession.

The party was fighting a #dretch and it was already disabled. It had one standard action before it fell. So, as a Hail Mary for its last action, it just tried to possess the tank smashing it to powder.

She failed the DC 11 Will save and it went up her nose.

We were down two party members that session, so I'm looking forward to seeing their reactions next time.

My last scheduled #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session on 19 October was canceled. The host was sick and said we could play at his place anyway, but it didn't feel right so we delayed. Next session is on 02 November.

I will have had a month to work out next session, but I never feel like I've planned enough. Of course I was ready to run on the 19th, as we canceled only hours before the game, but now I feel less ready than I did then.

My #Ustalav game was canceled this evening. The hosting player was sick and he said we could play anyway, as he hasn't been in his game room so we could just come over and use it without fear of exposure to whatever he's got, but we decided to postpone until our next scheduled session in two weeks.

(I think it would be rude to use his space without him, and I'm not sure the party can survive the planned encounter without his PC.)

OK so I want to use #GIT as version control for my multiple single-page ODF files instead of just saving under a new filename each time. Each .odt file contains a stat-block or two, and maybe some sidebars, for a monster or NPC for my #Pathfinder game.

When and how should I use GIT branches? It seems like the common advice is to use branches early and often, but I don't know how to apply that information.

I'd like to integrate a #hexcrawl into my #Pathfinder1e game. Ultimate Campaign suggests 12 mile hexes so I'll likely use that, though I've heard elsewhere a recommendation for smaller hexes.

I want to run a hexcrawl experience in the Hungry Mountains of #Ustalav. Canonically the Hungry Mountains contain the One Hundred Haunted Vales, very diverse isolated environments spread across the mountains, so I think a hexcrawl fits there.

When I launched my last #P1e game in 2012, it took between 4 and 6 months for the game to start. I showed up at the game store on Saturday every two weeks until another player wanted to play. Once there were two of us, others agreed to try it.

I think I'm going to have to do that again to launch another campaign, but I don't like the store hours at the store that's around here now so I haven't made a strong effort that way yet.

@Taskerland

I have a GMing crisis myself.

The crisis is I want to GM an in-person #Pathfinder1e game. That means I have to find players to play the game I actually want to run.

It took me about 6 months to launch my last campaign back in 2012, and that started as a much more by-the-book #P1e experience that slowly morphed into the monstrosity I want to play now.

I'm in #CharlestonWV so if anyone that reads this is local and wants to take a chance, let me know.
