Perhaps a foolish idea but it won't leave my head:

Someone should make, like, a #PrayerRequest app/site, but instead of just Christianity focused, users would be prompted to specify whatever traditions(s)/deity(ies)/spirit(s)/divine force(s) that they follow, and other users can filter the prayer requests by their own spirituality

e.g. if a user is Jewish and wants to fulfill prayer requests from other Jewish folks
or if a user is omnist and is cool with addressing a prayer to any divine entity
Etc.

I am begging someone to reassure me that COVID-19 is real and airborne and worse than the flu (which is already deadly enough that we should have been wearing masks when sick before COVID) and that it's my family that's wrong for deciding to never ever wear masks again or get any more COVID booster shots or even cover their mouths when they cough. I feel like I'm losing my mind here in MAGA county USA.

My fellow religious folks, prayers are appreciated.

My 96yo Aunt GlenRose passed away this Wednesday, finally finding peace.😥 I want to sincerely thank all of you who kept her in your prayers and in your hearts.

She was a warm & happy person, always finding a smile, even in her last painful years. She was a delightful hostess, who opened her home often to many guests, and made everyone feel instantly at home & welcome.

For over 70 years, she cared diligently for 2 sons, both of whom had #CerebralPalsey, and they lived most of those years with her. When her husband developed #Alzheimers, she cared for him at home also, until he passed away in 2011. Much of her life was tending to the needs of others, with little complaint for herself.💔

She was an exemplary Christian, and found great comfort in her faith.🕊️

She is survived by 4 sons (James, Robert, Daniel, & Thomas Fischer), 4 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

#UPDATE on my 96 year old Aunt GlenRose, who is at home in #hospice with multiple medical issues:

She is still hanging on to life, and still surrounded by loving family.

My adult daughter and I visited with her the other day, and she is a piteous sight. She's in constant agony when awake, but thankfully is kept sleeping most of the time. I will not give too much detail about her medical care or condition, suffice it to say that her eventual passing will be a true mercy for her. It's not possible to see her awake, moaning & wailing in pain, and not be brought to deep sobbing tears.💔

I would be very grateful to those of you of any faith, if you would keep her in your prayers.🙏
