this morning is the first time I’ve seen bees on the flowers. I’m not an expert but I tried to ID the critter—maybe a green sweat bee? look at the size of the pollen baskets!

Augochlura pura (Halictidae) in my garden today. I think she has plans on nesting in my terracotta strawberry planter even though it's not a rotting log, their usual choice. Pollinators were working the squash and zucchini. A sweat bee and a honey bee.

Looks like a sweat bee on the blackberry blossoms.
