O=C=O<p>Lobautunnel: Prüfung empfiehlt keine Umsetzung</p><p>Die von Klimaschutzministerin Leonore <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Gewessler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gewessler</span></a> (<a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Gr%C3%BCne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Grüne</span></a>) 2022 eingeleitete „Strategische Prüfung Verkehr“ (SP-V) zum Lobautunnel liegt seit heute vor. Empfohlen wird, das Projekt aus dem Gesetz zu streichen. </p><p>An der Streichung der S1 plus Lobautunnel aus dem <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Bundesstra%C3%9Fengesetz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bundesstraßengesetz</span></a> führe kein Weg vorbei, hielt Lukas Hammer, Verkehrs- und Umweltsprecher der Grünen, anlässlich der Veröffentlichung fest. Auch auf fachlicher Ebene sei geklärt, „dass wir die mobilitäts- und klimapolitischen Herausforderungen der Zukunft besser bewältigen können als mit diesem Betonprojekt aus dem letzten Jahrhundert“, sagte Hammer zum Alternativvorschlag mit Ausbau von öffentlichem <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Verkehr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Verkehr</span></a> und <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Schieneng%C3%BCterverkehr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Schienengüterverkehr</span></a>.</p><p>Auf mehr als 500 Seiten wurden in dem von <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Umweltbundesamt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Umweltbundesamt</span></a> in Kooperation mit der <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/TUGraz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TUGraz</span></a> und <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/TUWien" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TUWien</span></a> erstellten Bericht unter anderem die ökologischen Auswirkungen des geplanten <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/S1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>S1</span></a>-Ausbaus mit Tunnel und Alternativen untersucht.
