At a time when the world is facing growing economic inequality and extreme impacts of the climate crisis, the idea that the super-rich can spend these vast amounts of money for a few minutes in space just to realise “we need to protect Mother Earth” feels incredibly out of touch.

The inequality and climate impact gap between the super-rich and the rest of us is widening, and space joyrides are the epitome of it.

We need to #TaxTheSuperRich now!

Greenpeace InternationalBillionaire joy rides to space: the ultimate symbol of privilege and pollution - Greenpeace InternationalWhile millions of people around the world are struggling to afford basic necessities, the super-rich and their friends are joy riding into space that cost tens of millions of dollars.

Women are being hit the hardest by the impacts of the climate crisis...maybe if you paid your taxes we could spend that money fixing the chaos faced by ordinary people, instead of making it worse.

The money exists...let's get it working for everyone, not just the super-rich.

To save our planet, we must tackle the root causes of inequality.

G20 leaders are meeting in South Africa to find solutions to global economic and financial issues. But they must face reality: the climate crisis and skyrocketing inequality are twin emergencies demanding urgent action.

For too long, this system has let the super-rich hoard wealth while those most affected by the climate and social crises pay the price. It’s a moral outrage.

It is time to make #TaxTheSuperRich a global reality.

How on Earth is it normal that billionaires grow richer every second while millions struggle to afford food, housing and survive climate disasters?

Inequality is out of control because our system rewards wealth with more wealth. This isn’t just unfair—it’s a feedback loop driving us toward collapse.

The ultra-rich and big polluters must pay.
