I've got another #WhatsThis for you.

This thing sat outside the garage. It's cast, open on the bottom, has a rectangular groove for sliding something into and three holes in the groove. It's somewhat heavy. There's also a flange at the bottom.

Obviously it has been used as anvil/cutting surface, but what is its original purpose? If it's a T-40 tractor part, I don't know where it goes on that.

** I FIGURED IT OUT (see comment) ***

I found this in a bag.

Anyone have any clue as to what it is?

(This is not a quiz, because I really don't know but I'm very curious as to what it could be.)

I found it as one piece but I could pull it apart. I didn't add a banana for scale, but it's diameter is about 4-ish millimeters.

Fediverse! Should you choose to accept it, here is your #WhatIsThisThing challenge!
Left in the garage by the previous owners: a bag of steel spikes like very long staples, a few centimeters wide at the top, and a bag of not-quite-round flat plastic things, with a grid of little holes as well as two larger holes that the spikes fit through.
The spike ends aren't super sharp, but look like they would punch into the ground or something.

Edit: identified! These are for anchoring a weed barrier or other tarp style thing. Thank you everyone who helped figure it out!

Anyone know what this is? Final clearing of the basement for new carpet to replace the damaged old, and sorting and boxing cables under the tables I find this. Any idea what it is? That DB-25 branches out of that DB-9 next to it, which also has a cable out to another DB-9.

I can't recall which vintage device required this.

It was lying generally under where the Amiga 2000 and DOS 486 PC were situated.

Among a group of color transparencies (slides) I found at a thrift store was this image. I have no idea what this thing is. It is seemingly unrelated to the other slides. So far... 'modern art', 'a lamp', or 'a modern art lamp' are the top (only) guesses. :) Anyone have any others?

Dear internet:

What are these?
I found them in our basement.

The thing on the right claims to be a "professional hole punch", but the end is designed to be very dull. I'm guessing this is related to PEX tubing because of where I found it, but why would that need punching?

I have absolutely no idea what the thing on the left is.
