Taking their masks off in front of the public was really the best possible move for Ukraine in a bad situation. There was no chance of getting favorable negotiated terms, but embarrassing & politically weakening the treasonous pieces of shit blackmailing them puts them in a better position with American public opinion, Congress, and most importantly rest of world.

And invaded Ukraine in 2014. In 2015, the tangelo began his 2nd run for president.

@peterbrown @wdlindsy At the time of the revolution it was treason to insult the king. So the founders wrote a very restrictive definition of treason into the US constitution (the only crime that is defined there). If Russia is not officially an enemy it seems no amount of surrender to them would qualify as treason. In principle he could be accused of many other crimes, but his pet supreme court declared very broad immunity for presidents. So unless he is impeached and removed from office (which would end his immunity) it seems he is in the clear.

It seems the House of Hannover were utterly paranoid because after the struggles of 1745/6 it was considered disloyal to even mention Scotland . Companies and institutions from the period called themselves North British. So perhaps using the term Scotland would have been considered treason here?

All true, Joe. But espionage resulting in death is a capitol offense. This started happening mere weeks after trump’s illegal theft of thousands of classified documents, after he was out of office hence not covered by the BS immunity ruling.
Trump could, and should, be tried for espionage and executed. The Rosenbergs were killed for far less.

I can't say self sabotage. I would say Putin ran a long game with Krasnov and won. History is written by the winners so the truth of how many politicians and news outlets Putin owns may never be known.
