Show us something you've created. Tell us the story behind it.</p><p>Back in 2021, I decided that trying to reproduce movie scenes would be a good way to develop my DazStudio skills. So one of my rules was that everything had to be generated in Daz - no images if it could be avoided.</p><p>I did quite a few but one of the simplest, the Wesley/Buttercup kiss against the sun from The Princess Bride, was also one of the hardest.</p><p>So I had to figure out how to produce that sky using DazStudio objects. Is it similar to your work? Share your favourite works or creators! </p><p>How much is much? I research Victorian erotica (yes, I mean research) because I write it. Those period books are always written by "Anonymous" and usually poorly.</p><p>But I'm going to hijack this to complain about kinks destroying the ability to market any erotica that doesn't target one specific type.</p><p>Look up Emmanuelle on Amazon to see its categories - Erotic romance (it's not a romance), Erotic BDSM (does not contain BDSM), and unbelievably: Erotic Westerns. Seriously? It's set in Thailand. Do you specifically design your characters, or do they develop as you write?</p><p>It depends.</p><p>As a pantser I start with, for example, "acrobat in a travelling circus" or "brilliant Anglo-Indian going home", and a name. Then off we go.</p><p>My new WIP, CAT PEOPLE, will be plotted to within an inch of its life - because it's very complicated with multiple POVs and throughlines all of which have to end in the same place and at the same time.</p><p>For this I do more planning of characters. The actual MC is Sikh, which then required a lot of additional research to ensure what I intend is respectful. But then I'm pushing boundaries.</p><p>She's female, of course, but her sexual preferences may or may not become relevant - and that's a potentially contentious point. </p><p>The same work goes into all the primary POVs.</p><p>However they still develop as I write. Other than injuries, do your characters ever have health issues?</p><p>Sure.</p><p>I do have characters getting ill, sometimes for violent reasons and sometimes because people just do. Even my epic fantasy has a "slice-of-life" style.</p><p>Then there's Veronica and her kyphosis, a chronic back deformation which means she's in pain most of the time and can't do a lot of things.</p><p>CW: Female nudity. This is one of my earliest renders but I like it. Well that's been a day.

*TEST MY SHOP*

Finally got the first pack of downloadable wallpapers sorted out on Ko-Fi.

Unfortunately the image I'm using (a 3D render created by me) has been particularly annoying.

Hence it's taken all day.
