Since I’ve lived in NE #Alabama, I’ve volunteered with our county #Democratic club (bc they’re the only organized opposition to Trumpism in our area.) Each May we have a lovely evening social at a rural event barn and each year there has been a *noticeably* larger crowd. I was so pleased by how many young people were there. A group of my son’s HS friends were there promoting a LGBT+ event they’re hosting at the local library. When I first joined, I was the youngest member of the group at 39.
