Let’s not flatter ourselves. This is what I am. And so are you. A collection of stuff from the periodic table. Under the surface we are biological robots with extremely advanced CPU installed inside of our craniums. When there’s no longer power, when our bodies start to rot, our personalities, our memories and the very core of ourselves stop existing.

It’s natural and in line with the Universe.
It’s more than a miracle so let’s be grateful and do the best of this One Life we have.

Nothing indicates that there is an afterlife in where we continue existing. Our atoms will but in trillions of other combinations creating something totally new!

Bike & a Viking longboat, Stockholm Sweden.

The number of interesting sightings seems to be endless in this city. I’ve lived here since 1989 and not once felt myself bored. I can easily switch my point of view from a regular everyday Stockholm dude to a tourist and just watch the city flow around me like I was on a vacation in some place new to me.

One Life
– Anthony Hopkins stars as Nicholas Winton in this remarkable true story of a young London stockbroker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued over 600 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.
The film alternates between Winton's younger years, where he's portrayed by Johnny Flynn, as he navigates personal risks and bureaucratic hurdles to save lives, and his later years, reflecting on his legacy.

"Nicholas “Nicky” Winton (1909–2015) oli brittiläinen pörssimeklari, joka vuosina 1938–39 kumppaniensa Doreen Warrinerin ja Trevor Chadwickin avulla pelasti 669 enimmäkseen juutalaista lasta natsien kynsistä juuri ennen kuin nämä valtasivat Tšekkoslovakian."

Helsingin Sanomat · One Life on tunteikas muttei ylitunteellinen kuvaus hyvän ihmisen elämästäBy Pertti Avola

ONE LIFE, starring Anthony Hopkins, is a surprisingly good little #film being billed in some places as “the British Schindler’s List.” It’s based on the true story of Nicholas Winton and a group of fellow Brits and Czechs who, in the late 1930s as the Nazis were approaching Prague, wound up rescuing hundreds of children, getting them out of Czechoslovakia to England before WW2 broke out. Very moving. A story I knew nothing about. See it.
