I didn't fix my leaky hose out of respite for the local #wildlife
We've had many heat days in #Toronto #Ontario and are virtually in a #drought with much of grass burnt off #ClimateChange

This #rabbit came looking for water even though I was sitting on the porch, and my cat was around. I hope it comes back latter in the evening, when we're in.

I leave a bowl of water out as a bird bath, and it gets used ever few minutes.

We've turned the Carolinian forests, with all their little streams, of southern Ontario into an arid concrete landscape.

🇦🇹 Hab eine Wildkaninchen-Familie gesehen. Die sind wirklich herzig 🥰

Leider nur 3 am Bild - die anderen hatte ich aufgescheucht, weil ich sie zu spät gesehen hatte.

🇬🇧 Saw a wild rabbit family today – they’re absolutely adorable 🥰

Sadly, only three made it into the photo – I startled the others because I noticed them too late.

@EUCommission Well. The "Three Hares" have been an important cultural artifact all over the european history, thus, culture. (And you have one country whose name literally means "land of the rabbit") A series of #bunny #rabbit pictures would make the ideal set of iconography for the euro bills!

So many different kinds of buns all across Europe too! You could have a bunny for each possible denomination!!

@cazabon

👋 I cook my chickpeas for about 35 minutes after the cooker comes up to pressure. And then let it cool down for 10 minutes. I want them to be very soft. Save some cooking water to thin things out or just use plain water (unless you really like lemons!).

If your chickpeas are still too firm, you can add a pinch or two of baking soda and simmer a little longer. I’ve had to do this if my chickpeas are a very old. My municipal water has a lot of minerals, so you might not ever need to do this.

Bonus: Here’s a photo of my (departed) sweet bunny, MerryBelle. She was terrified of the pressure cooker sounds. She would hide or come sit with me. ❤️
