Hmm, it's very unclear to me if I buy travel insurance for a cruise to Santorini right now if they will cover me (or pay out a death benefit) in the case of an earthquake or volcanic eruption. 🤔

The first is "Exceptions" (i.e. they won't cover you in the case of nuclear war).

But "Coverage" summary includes coverage of "a natural disaster" for travel delay.

A hearty clap on the back for me today.
I've finally got around to sorting next year's travel insurance out. It's not straightforward because of all of Sacha's ailments.
The final price - on the phone - was well below the online price for slightly better cover, plus it's only £15 more than the one that cancelled our policy due to her new sleep apnoea diagnosis.

We learned a couple of years ago that travel insurance is essential. It also became obvious that cheap insurance is useless if the claim handling is clueless. And finally that you must, must tell them every little thing about your health, because if you don't then they'll use it to deny your claim.
