ℹ️ Der Höckerschwan (Cygnus olor) wird bis zu 1,60 Meter lang und erreicht dabei eine Spannweite von bis zu 2,40 Meter. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Pflanzen, die im Wasser leben, und kleinen Tieren, wie Muscheln. Markant ist der Höcker über dem Schnabel, woher der Schwan seinen Namen hat.

🐦 Ohrentaucher im Prachtkleid 🇫🇮
ℹ️ Der Ohrentaucher (Podiceps auritus) gehört zu den Lappentaucher. Er wird bis zu 38 cm lang und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 55 cm. Zu seiner Ernährung zählen Krebse, Insekten und kleinen Fische. ⚠️ Der Ohrentaucher ist leicht mit dem Schwarzhalstaucher zu verwechseln.

📝 Finally I was able to photograph a kingfisher. I really like the colours of this "diamond".
ℹ️ The kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) grows up to 19.5 cm and has a wingspan of up to 25 cm. It feeds mainly on fish, but also on insects and tadpoles.

📝 Endlich konnte ich mal einen Eisvogel fotografieren. Ich mag die Farben von diesem „Diamanten“ sehr und den englischen Namen „Königfischer“.

ℹ️ Der Eisvogel (Alcedo atthis) wird bis zu 19,5 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 25 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Fischen, aber auch von Insekten und Kaulquappen. 🏆 1973 und 2009 war der Eisvogel in Deutschland Vogel des Jahres.
