Atm streaming ABC1 News in chromium, ugh, coz the #WideVine plugin constantly crashed in each of :firefox_nightly: , :firefox: , & :floorp: This has never happened before for me, & i wonder if the root cause might be Aunty doing something there with new #iView changes that they only tested on google crap & not also #Firefox? Last night i had no problems, & since then only one of those browsers has had an update. 🤷‍♀️🤯

Finished watching the show Boat Story last night. Crikey!

I'm always up for a good comedy-thriller, and this did not disappoint. But note well, it's got a lot of bloody violence in it, and most other content warning triggers too.

But bloody funny! And full of surprises. Some excellent caricatures of characters. A touch of the bizarre, and the macabre. Rollicking good fun!

ABC iView (in Australia) has a doco about the science of carbon capture in forests. Well worth the watch if you are interested in the how, the how much, and the why. NB: not about planting a trillion trees!

The Forest

ABC iviewThe ForestThe story of a brilliant ecologist with a plan to save the world by restoring the planet's forests. His original work was hijacked by corporations and politicians with disastrous effect. Now he's using science to fight back.

Last night i watched the film Gravity on ABC #iView [whereat tbh i was most surprised to find such a big blockbuster, so maybe i need to peruse it more often?]. I had forgotten lots of it, but even so, i do not recall being quite so terrified when i first saw it a few years back. Amazeballs 😱
