Wardley maps has been a useful tool for me over the last few years.
I’m getting a lot of value from seeing David Anderson do it live at #oredev.
There are good questions and perspectives I haven’t thought about previously.
The audience participation is also great!
I'm excited to teach #dotNET #Testing #BestPractices at #Øredev. Join us #InPerson https://oredev.org/ and grab the code at https://github.com/robrich/net-testing-xunit-moq
I'm on my way to #Øredev 2024 in #Sweden! I'm excited I get to teach #dotNET and learn together. Join us #InPerson at https://oredev.org/

In November I presented “Under-Engineered Patterns” for #Øredev in Malmö. The video is now online:

(1/3) My talk from the Øredev 2023 conference about forecasting at scale is now available
If you were at my Reading Code talk at
#JavaForumNord #GeeCON #FooConf or #Oredev and are interested to learn more about the Dependency Matrix to help you explore dependencies in your code base, I created a video for you! You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moi49_V_4g0
Basking in the afterglow of #oredev2023 #oredev. Such a wonderful conference, so welcoming, so brilliant, so cutting edge! The organizers created a sense of ephemeral community, though many of the connections we made will be lasting. I appreciate the kind words people gave me after my talks. I appreciate the spontaneous “hallway” conversations about books and life! I appreciate the collegiality I found in #Malmö
Just gave my talk at Øredev to a fairly well-filled room. Hopefully some of them will take a closer look at Elixir based on what I shared.
I felt it went well. I am very relieved. I should have pictures to share a bit later :)
Thank you #oredev for having me ! Loved the conversations had and I hope to return someday
!
In the meantime, below are the slides used during my talk:

If you were not in my #Oredev talk this morning, my slides are up at:

If you were there, thanks for being patient with the late start as a result of the prior session. AV bugs are real and I feel for other speakers.
“We learn, we change. With that we learn what else there is to learn and the cycle continues.” - @DianaOfPortland
Once you learn something you change forever; you can’t really go back.
Who remembers Paladin & “Have Gun, will travel” #TVShow from long ago? I cringe at the #TagLine now, & my memory is that the hero tried to find other solutions to ppl’s problems. Anyway, I used it as a meme today (Have /particular app/, will travel.) then realized my recipient probably had no idea what I was referencing. #GettingOlder #OutOfDate #GenerationGap I do much better in my #keynote #talks. Much more #onTrend #upToDate #edgey #Agile , I promise. See you at #Øredev conference in Malmö.
