Today's #sewing post: I made a little case to hold my #cycling mirrors. I like these little mirrors that attach onto the frames of my glasses when I commute, but I want to wear those sunglasses throughout the day too... so where do I put the mirror between commutes? Now I have a case for it!
It's not pretty with its exposed raw edges, but it took very little fabric, some random leftover foam from another project, and a zipper salvaged from I can't remember what.
Zippers are not my strong suit but I am able to eventually get them to a place where they are functional.

Yesterday, on the holiday, I finally made progress on my photography portfolio after some procrastination. I managed to bridge some technical knowledge gaps and refine the core concept of what the site aims to deliver and achieve. I'm pleased with my deliberate yet serious approach, as I believe this will lead to a polished final result that's truly worth the effort.

#familyDay #sewingproject - took a set of inexpensive bed sheets and remade them into a removable duvet cover. I had to get creative with the corners as the fitted sheets were of course missing a bit of fabric, but all good in the end!

My project is off hiatus today. My non-existent attention span has me working on cards at different stages all at once, and also the blank cards' slick surface forces waiting on drying times between color layers.
I ran a character creation test with 2 people last night and both made characters they liked in under 20mins. That's a pretty good sign.
Today I made a few adjustments to how I was presenting the rules based on their feedback, and I made a page on statuses.
Next, I have some more ritual ideas and a variety of combat stuff to finish writing.
