As for the "why", there's more to it than media backlash. The union lobby is VERY against UBI, as it puts the "or I can quit, try finding a replacement" power directly in workers' hands. No intercessory ACTU saints required to improve pay and conditions. And with less union dues, less funding for ALP careerist #NepoBaby staffers like #AlboMP.

Dutton can't be that stupid that he doesn't know he is bullshitting us... can he? AND if he does know, what does that say about what he thinks of the electorate? That is the proper question to ask.

If there is evidence of a lot of dissatisfaction with #AlboMP 's govt there is nothing that the Labor govt is doing that shows it is taking the electorate for mugs.

The #LNP 's disrespect for the electorate is sharply contrasted with an over-cautious and over-sensitive Labor govt.
