Had enjoyed #MadelineMiller's #Circe, but halfway through "The Song of Achilles", I think I like it even better. Not a joke to adapt "The Iliad" and retell it in this way.

@amymyoung Cool! So, have you read any of #MadelineMiller's books? She does a great job bringing life to the Greek myths. Her book, "#Circe" deals with the misogyny of the "heroic" period, while "The Song of #Achilles" deals with the subject of male homosexuality during the same time. I find her interpretations match what I gleaned from translating #Homer myself.
