“Solve real-world problems in the video game!” OK... solve the problems the programmers put into the game... solve simulations of real-world... solve problems within the micro world of the platform... these complement, but are not Authentic Learning. #edtech #edchat #education

“I don’t know, let’s figure it out,” are words frequently spoken by the best leaders and teachers... but it must be sincere. #leadership #teaching #teachingstrategies #edchat #education
I’ve come to enjoy the reaction of adults (including teachers, principals, etc., parents, business people...) who learn the purpose of public education is not to create people just like them. #edchat #education #school
Nearly 300 academics have applied to a French university’s offer to take in US-based researchers rattled by the American government’s crackdown on academia ... creation of a “scientific refugee” status for academics in peril. #highered #edchat #Trump #Harvard

Technology became a part of classrooms before we understood its place in teaching and learning. #edchat #education #edtech Yeah, that seems about right.

Any #teachers on the line using Microsoft with students ?
I am looking for a #PeerReview tool for students to give peer feedback , like the website peergrade, which was discontinued.
It would be nice if it was built into MS Teams Assignments, so that when students handed in, they could be assigned anonymously for ss to give peer feedback using a rubric created by the teacher.
Maybe Edword?
