A photo taken at sunset last night ISO 25,600. An amazing feat of technology & all that, because once most of us mere mortals couldn't photograph a hummingbird in any detail in so dark an environment but...

think i need to learn about noise reduction. I have it included in Affinity Photo 2 but don't know how to use it other than the defaults... Hints, tips, etc welcomed

I'd really like to be able to do Dolby Type-C noise reduction in software, from FLACs recorded from tapes.

The main problem there seems to be that Dolby NR is defined using reference levels, and since you're basically losing the absolute level information once you're passing the tape's signal through any variable-level recording setup.
