A thing that went through my mind today -- and it has nothing to do with the ongoing coup:
Adulting is high.
It was a moment of self-doubt.
I thought: what if I never recover my mojo because grief has stamped it all out? What if no one wants me anymore because I spent the whole fucking year dealing with dad's literal and figurative shit?
It was petty.
But it's what I felt.
Sigh.

There's a good take going around about this: the point of Trump's latest Nazi rally wasn't to win votes. If anything, he's losing votes over it, and he doesn't care.
Trump knows he can't win the election, not even with cheating. He plans to throw a coup. Again. This rally is to fire up the brown-shirts.
@woof I mean, it appears to be 2 caps & a resistor array in addition to the IC, so in that particular case, you're not really getting much from them that you couldn't suss out for yourself from the datasheet.
#realtalk: The only parts of datasheets I really read/understand are the pinouts, some of the expected voltage values on I/O pins, and the example schematics. This only bites me on the ass maybe 5% of the time?
