Die Spielrunde am #OnlineOpenTable gestern war soo cool! Endlich wieder nen Dungeon exploriert.
Ein Priester (mit Streitkolben und einem Gewissen, hrhr), eine Halbling-Diebin (beste! Grüße von Ralina!) und ein Nick-Cave-artiger Warlock machten sich auf, eine Mine zu erkunden. Figuren mit chaotischer Gesinnung zu spielen, macht mir riesig Spaß. Da kannste auch mal einfach bisschen freundlich-egoistisch sein oder Bedenken anderer „nach sorgfältiger Prüfung“ beiseite schieben.

Außerdem plane ich eben eine Lore-Seite zu gestalten für meine Hexe von #ShadowdarkRPG
Ersten Arbeitstag nach dem Urlaub bald geschafft, alles roger.
Später am Tag werde ich die Todesfalle … DEN ABENTEUERORT NEKROMANTENTURM für Dienstag ausgestalten. Das wird ein Spaß.

Gerade gelernt, dass mensch im #ShadowdarkRPG-#Kompendium bei @dnddeutsch gleichzeitig nach mehreren Kreaturen suchen kann. Schema: Kreatur1|Kreatur2|Kreatur3 und so weiter. #pnpde
Wer bei uns am #OnlineOpenTable mitspielen möchte, wir suchen insbesondere noch weitere SL. Wir spielen mit dem Regelwerk von #ShadowdarkRPG und sind old-schoolig unterwegs.
Wir haben einen Kontinent mit verschiedenen Regionen, wo ihr euch austoben könnt. Platz für weitere ist immer irgendwo.
Das Gute am #OpenTable: Es gibt keine Verpflichtung, jedesmal mitzuspielen oder regelmäßig was anzubieten. Hop-on, hop-off.

Hi! I'm Chris! I write code, I make things, and I parent.
My posts are generally about a few key areas: #Programming, #HamRadio, #TTRPG and #Parenting.
As far as programming, I mostly focus on #DotNet #CSharp professionally, with a smattering of #WebDev using #TypeScript. For my "not professional" development, I do a lot of #GameDev in #Godot (usually using C#, though not always!), and I adore #FunctionalProgramming, particularly in #FSharp, but also in many other languages! I stream software and game development on Twitch at https://twitch.tv/b4ux1t3. The schedule on there is not currently correct (January 2025), but should be soon.
When it comes to ham radio, I mostly focus on #DigitalModes, though I do a little bit of #POTA and #SOTA (well, I want to, anyway!). I'm a big user of #APRS and #PacketRadio. I try to be active on #YSF via the inimitable KJ7OMO@mastodon.radio's (edit: removed the mention here to prevent accidental mentions!) pride radio network, though mostly I listen. If you'd like my callsign, feel free to DM me. I do not list it publicly, but I'm not shy about handing it out in a more private setting.
Regarding TTRPG, I'm mostly a forever GM who runs #ShadowdarkRPG, #BladesInTheDark, #MorkBorg and #Mausritter, though I love most #OSR games and often mix and match rules and stuff. I don't _hate_ #DnD, #dnd5e or otherwise, it's just not the sort of thing I enjoy running. I also GM professionally on https://startplaying.games/gm/b4ux1t3!

I've got my stat block parser MOSTLY working. The only thing that doesn't seem to be working is the attack parser, and that makes sense; attacks are freaking complex compared to the rest of the stats, and the attack parsing functions make up a full 25% percent of the code.

I have been thinking a lot about the two darlings of the Old-School RPG world: Old-School Essentials and ShadowDark. Both are great games. But would they be better if I mixed them together?

Heute spielen wir lokal in Kiel den „zweiten Teil“ von Nate Tremes Dungeon #Witchtomb mit #ShadowDarkRPG. Vor einigen Monaten war die Abenteuergruppe in das Grab der Hexe eingedrungen und hatte sowohl bizarre als auch unheimliche Begegnungen. #pnpde #Rollenspiel
Das regnerische, stürmische Wetter hier ist perfekt für einen schönen Dungeonrun im Trockenen.

Native to all places that fae like to travel, this fae creature is generally not as wicked as it's appearance suggests.
