I declare today #worldrestoreday, a day to restore an old #minecraft world from last year's backup! Make sure restore actually works.
Here's the script for today:
Find your _printed_ restore instructions and key.
With extra computer or fresh VM, install minecraft.
On the VM: go to your backup software and restore the wold.
(No cheating: you can't look for passwords or notes on the main machine!)
Play a bit to see it works!

It's #WorldBackupDay! It's much easier to back up your data while you can than try to recover it when you can't.
We hope you take this opportunity to back up your important data, and back up that backup, too!
Today is World Backup day. And well, to many of us #Minecraft worlds, especially our first ones, are special.
They can be a real time capsule for future us. So please, make sure your Minecraft worlds (and not only!) are properly backed up, check if you can recover from the backup, make sure you have multiple copies, including at least one off-site.
