I've just released version 0.3.5 of Pygenda - my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app targetting #GeminiPDA & #CosmoCommunicator running Linux. (Similar keyboard #PDA type devices running #LinuxMobile should work too, e.g. #PinePhone + keyboard, F(x)tec #Pro1x, #PocketReform)

The main change this release is that todo-items with a due date are (optionally) shown in Week & Year Views. This has been a useful improvement for me as I now see todos in my "home" views, rather than having to switch to Todo View.

I've just released version 0.3.4 of Pygenda, my WIP Psion-style agenda application for keyboard-equipped handhelds running GNU-like Linux. The main changes this release are bug fixes and installation instructions for the Cosmo Communicator (see photos).

The old video I keep sharing showing some of Pygenda's features on a Gemini PDA: youtube.com/watch?v=uvQqFmlZ6n

I bought a second-hand Cosmo Communicator a few weeks ago for miscellaneous tinkering. One aim was to get Pygenda (my Psion-inspired agenda app) running as well as on the Gemini PDA. It took a bit longer than expected, due to other activities & unanticipated differences between their Debian installs, but it's looking pretty good now.

(The appointments shown in the photo are not my real agenda - my social life is much less exciting 🙂)

I've just released v0.3.2 of Pygenda - my #Psion-inspired agenda app for keyboard-equipped Linux PDAs. If you're not sure what that would look like, here's a video of an earlier version running on my #GeminiPDA: youtube.com/watch?v=uvQqFmlZ6n

Main changes since the last release:
• An import function, so you can import entries from iCal files.
• Dutch translations - thanks to Heimen Stoffels, a freelance translator: github.com/Vistaus

I've been enamoured with the idea of getting a vintage micro-laptop for a long time now, but doubted I'd manage to do anything with them. Then I found the Gemini PDA, and that it was on sale, so I had to grab one. It's a cute little thing! #GeminiPDA

Took some time to mess with a Gemini PDA I had laying around. What a perfect little note-taking machine - just wish I could run a proper Linux on it. Termux is quite powerful, however.

I love the "smol laptop" formfactor so damn much. This thing would be a perfect device if it had an rPi crammed inside of it instead of some dead end chip stuck on Android 7.1.

For anyone after a #Psion Agenda-like experience on a #MobileLinux #PDA, I've just released v0.2.9 of #Pygenda (alpha, WIP!).

v0.2.9 adds two nice new features: repeats like "last Monday in May" and todo item due dates.

I run it on my #GeminiPDA, but it's written in Python/GTK3 so should run on similar keyboard devices. Would love to hear from anyone running it on a #PinePhone, #FXTec #Pro1x, #GPD, #eeePC, #Zaurus, or other!

I've released a new version of Pygenda - my agenda app targeting keyboard-equipped mobile Linux devices. The UI is inspired by Agenda apps on #Psion PDAs, & v0.2.7 adds a zoom feature, making it feel even more Psion-like.

To celebrate, I made a new video of it running on a #GeminiPDA: youtube.com/watch?v=uvQqFmlZ6n

It's alpha software & it would be great if people could test it on similar devices, e.g. a #PinePhone + keyboard.
