Got a chance to bicycle a Tern GSD yesterday. Sweet. I can see this bike getting through to the people who think bicycling for transportation isn't possible. I just used the "eco" option and the difference it made on a steep incline was amazing.
Oof, I hadn't fallen in years, but got spanked hard by the ground tonight. I was riding the #TernGSD about 13mph on a MUP with 1" of mashed-potato snow. (Sadly, I had 8 miles to go)
I've got studded Marathon tires, but the front wheel can quit rolling and start plowing/sliding really easily.
I'm going to have to park the GSD and switch to an MTB with 26" IceSpikers. Maybe if IceSpikers came in 20", that would be enough to make the GSD a #winterbike .
Missed the start of #MinnesotaFrost hockey cuz Santa's Sleigh #TernGSD went to Target for stocking stuffers.
The 20" Marathon Winter tires were fine on plowed paths, but I had to stop and walk the bike through loose snow.
The other bike with 27.5" and IceSpikers would have been easier, but would have struggled to carry the clothes drying rack

Brompton can be stored almost anywhere.
A 20" folder is cheaper, and can fit under a desk.
Here's a picture of my 20-inch folder in a bag (getting a lift from a #TernGSD ). The 20" folder has a luggage rack on the back, so its a bit bigger than usual.
After watching videos of Battery Doctor fixing Bosch ebike batteries with water damage to the BMS, I have taped up my batteries with electrical tape before winter.
There is one long piece of tape down the side, under the bottom and back up the other side. And a short piece on the handlebar the top. (I snipped it twice on the bottom so I could fold a flap inwards where the electric contacts are)

@phpmacher Oh Menno, mich lächeln derzeit auf dem Weg #mdRzA mit dem #TernGSD und Weidenkörbchen vorne dran nur die Muttis an, die morgens zwischen den Feldern ihre Wuffis spazieren führen.
Ich glaube damit bin ich eher am unteren Ende der Coolness-Skala 
Aber immerhin, die Sonne scheint und man wird angelächelt, damit fängt der Tag doch ganz gut an.

Da mein #Load75 #Lastenrad in der Inspektion ist nehme ich diese Woche das #TernGSD von Ms. Dadmin, um damit #mdRzA zu fahren.
Das macht schon auch mal Spaß!
Durch die sehr aufrechte Sitzposition nehme ich die Landschaft anders war und das wendige und agile Fahrverhalten ist in der Stadt schon cool.
Am Load schätze ich die höhere Geschwindigleit, den ruhigen Geradeauslauf und das Gefühl auf einer Sänfte zu sitzen.
Beide Räder erwiesen sich für den jeweiligen Kaufzweck als ideal
