August #running recap: compared to July I have 225.4 → 152.2mi (168.7 w/ walking), EG 4,419 → 1,206ft, 34 → 24hr running.

This was down significantly from July, due to tapering/recovering for the two races: #TunnelVision #Marathon (all-downhill) and today's #Redmond Harvest #HalfMarathon (3 weeks apart). My VO2Max via #AppleWatch is also consistently above 51 now!

I'm at 1,832.4 of yearly goal 2,400mi, 234.6 ahead. My next marathon #race is in October (last chance to #BQ this year)! Onward!

Is anyone out there familiar with the whole BQ Cervantes e-reader ecosystem? The company went under a few years ago, but I have a device and would like to make some modifications to the screen resolution and frame buffer.
I know it's possible, since there was a "hacker" version of their OS, based on Debian 7 "wheezy". But my problem is the firmware(?).

I was hoping to find a former engineer who had worked at the company or something...I'm sure they're out there and the device still works - why not breath new life into it?

CBC does a good job, cueing up the 4 leaders answers on the question of Poillievre not getting security clearance despite reports again today that his own leadership race in 2022 was the victim of Indian influence efforts.

Poillievre often responds "I WILL NOT BE MUZZZZZLED”...

Meanwhile, Blanchet, Leader of the #BQ, and who does have the clearance, wins this round with his dead-pan answer:

"I never felt muzzled in my whole life” 😂
