Another topic that thrills me and drives me to do something: school canteens and the way they’re treated as mass production #industry (in most urban cases) and how they openly ignore any #ecological involvement of #food into #ClimateChange.

This book is born from a research work conducted by Geneviève Zola and Laurent Visier in the Greater #Montpellier area (South of #France).

I simply can’t stand here and do nothing.
I’d start by #reading.

I volunteer with BIJAN sending $20 to folks in ICE prison each month. I got a refund check just now, as I guess one of the guys was no longer being held. But they kept the $7.95 service fee.

Ya, it cost $7.95 to send $20 to a canteen account. Which most likely is no surprise to anyone reading this.

To be clear BIJAN refunds the money I send to the canteen accounts. As you can only donate to two accounts per day they need a bunch of folks to help them navigate that restriction.

About healthy eating for children.

Together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (Mayor of Melitopol) and representatives of other communities, Slavutych mayor Yuriy Fomichev visited the city of Bucha. The Fabryka-Kitchen enterprise, which provides food for several educational institutions in the Bucha community (simultaneously feeds more than 4 thousand children)

This project is called Cook:eat: Factory-Kitchen, which is part of the school catering reform.

Incredible, cool equipment, shock cooling (up to +30C), special boxes, friendly design of the canteens and just incredibly cool organization of all processes - respect to Orest Stepanyak!

A great idea about children's health.
Scaling up culinary processes from the backbone kitchens to the factory kitchen.

We liked it. We are exploring opportunities for Slavutych.
We have to feel the trend. This is much broader than school meals.
School logistics, children's health, new skills of cooks, work in the region.

Підприємство «Фабрика-кухня», що забезпечує харчуванням декілька закладів освіти в Бучанській громаді (одночасно харчує більше 4 тис. дітей)

Цей проект має назву ГотуЇмо: Фабрика-Кухня , який є частину реформи шкільного харчування.

Неймовірне, класне обладнання, шокове охолодження (до +30С), спеціальні бокси, доброзичливий дизайн їдалень і просто неймовірно крута організація всіх процесів - респект Orest Stepanyak!

Великий задум про здоров'я дітей.
Масштабування кулінарних процесів від опорних кухонь до фабрики-кухні.

Сподобалось. Вивчаємо можливості для Славутича.
Маємо відчувати тенденцію. Це значно ширше ніж харчування в школі.
Логістика шкіл, здоров'я дітей, нові навички кухарів, робота в регіоні.
