Here's what students, K-12 schools, and colleges can expect now that "One Big Beautiful Bill" is officially law:

•K-12 #school vouchers are going national (sort of)
•Loss of Medicaid funds to K-12 schools
•Cuts to food assistance & school meals
•Increase to the #ChildTaxCredit
•Big changes to federal #StudentLoans
•Changes to #PellGrants for low-income students
•An accountability earnings test for colleges
•Higher #tax on #college endowments

Educational researchers are erroneously interpreting non-significant results as the absence of an effect
sciencedirect.com/science/arti
"of 528 statistically tested hypotheses, 253 (48%) were non-significant. Of these, 142 (56%) were erroneously interpreted to indicate the absence of an effect...For 97 (38%) of non-significant results, such misinterpretations were linked to potentially misguided implications for educational theory, practice, or policy."

Are charter schools public or private? A case speeding towards the Supreme Court is likely to settle this dispute by declaring charters as “non-state actors.”

While Peltier v. Charter Day School is nominally about dress codes, the real question is whether charter school students have the same Constitutional rights as their public school peers.
