(Discontinuing LBC support probably means the platform won't be connected to the LBRY blockchain anymore. Also, content discoverability will be hurt pretty much, even if creators can get monetized, smaller creators will have a much harder time being discovered. I get that their new parent company Arweave is probably forcing them to switch to their crypto stuff and ditch LBRY, but it will probably just hurt the platform in the long run, especially because the new payment system requires signing up to an additional service, which many people are not a big fan of.)

I noticed a change in the #HuggingFace #HuggingChat #ChatGPT like service. In the past HuggingChat had an option to allow or disallow the use of your conversation to improve open source #LLM models. Now, that option is gone.

Looking at their #privacy policy, HF makes a very clear #DataPrivacy statement: your data will not be used for model training. Which should allay privacy concerns.

Are you more inclined to use HuggingChat over ChatGPT or #Gemini?

I want to recommend a web interface for communication with open source LLM — HuggingChat. On the site, you can use Mixtral-8x7B-Instruct-v0.1, #CodeLlama 70b, #Llama 2 70b, and a couple of smaller models as well.

Also, the site has its own version of #GPTs — assistants. Since the #HuggingChat service is significantly less known than ChatGPT, there aren’t as many assistants yet. But their presence alone pleases me greatly.

Digging into a dream, I asked #huggingchat which building has pencil windows with a rectangular top.

It instantly proposed the Seagram Tower. Which does not have pencil windows. The rectangular top it envisaged was the Seagram roof. Not at all what I meant.

Utterly useless but absolute.

j'ai fait une quinzaine de de tests unitaires en #python pour transformer des données d'open data vers des données standardisées.
puis j'ai demandé à un Llama de #huggingchat de factoriser la fonction de transformation.

le résultat était plus concis, oui, mais plus aucun test ne fonctionnait avec les résultats attendus XD.
