i'm sure it will all be fine though, Elon assured us that the Optimus robot will be ten times bigger than any product made by any company ever in history¹.

Tesla cars are in a pickle, and so too is the Optimus humanoid robot program. The company sold around 5,000 Cybertruck models in Q2 of this year. Optimus has lost its head of program and delayed production since, according to @electrek, "the robot has yet to prove useful in Tesla's factories." Last I checked the Optimus demo a few months ago was so obviously staged/faked that the stock crashed like 10% immediately.
