bummer to realize I can't attach a photo to the note :/ though i hear it's on the roadmap
also can't create a sticker from this yet :(
biggest drawback is no crop! so i had to post-process in krita on my machine
i'm finding the exports too "harsh" since you see it as greyish on the device but it exports with a white background

my first work on the #atelier app
it was a nice drawing experience esp with the pencil brush! i feel.... unlocked hahaha
dithering is from me drawing too small 
i draw small but zoom in to draw details, so middle photo was taken at 150% zoom. i was shocked to find the dithering in the export til @cookieflips asked about the size of my drawing
got the #supernote nomad yesterday! finally regained some peace of mind after wanting this for so long. not regretting it so far!
already jotted down some notes to blog about the experience so it's had a productive, albeit meta, day 1!
bit the bullet and bought the #supernote nomad last night!
i'm! so! excited!!!
My life has just been changed. It turns out you can sideload the #Zotero Android app onto a #Supernote, and then actually get access to all your Zotero synced files. It's a teeny bit involved, but mangeable:
1. Go to Supernote settings>Security & Privacy and enable side loading. This will turn on the USB port for Android debug tools.
2. Install the #Android platform tools (on Mac `brew install android-platform-tools`)
3. Grab a nightly build from https://github.com/northword/zotero-android-nightly-build of it.
4. Connect Supernote to a computer (in my case a Mac).
5. Run `adb install $filename.apk`
It will now be in your "sidebar". It might be under "more". But I was able to log in, and it synced 2,000ish documents in just a couple minutes. Obviously you need to be on WiFi for this.
6. If you're paranoid, turn off side-loading.
The reader has full markup capabilities, and syncs quite quickly back. See attached screenshots.
Everytime I run, I have ideas. Today's was to reorganize my site based on the Timeline System. Latest posts, podcast episodes, and videos would be in a Action folder. The old ones in the Timeline. Library, Toolbox, etc. are Static Containers (folders). #Supernote
Anyone have an eink writing device? I'm looking into them. Portability is important to me for notes, so the 10s seem large. But the only smaller device that seems highly recommended is the Nomad. Is that my best option?
We'll see how long I keep this up daily, lol. In college one professor bought veggies for us to draw for our sketchbook, but I don't want to buy food just to draw haha.
Here's the actual thing as it looks like on device + additional veggie before I go to sleep because my child is having a fit behind me.

Some sketches I made on my Nomad for the hammer game. Some of them are ideas for enemies and boss battles, the monkey is a draft of the player character.
The Manta writing experience was great. It has only grown on me. It’s like writing with a smooth fountain pen on very smooth paper. No pressure.

But man o man this e-ink stuff is a real rabbit hole. A few times I've had myself convinced I needed an e-ink note book, if not a few in different sizes.
So far I've managed to resist. I don't think a notebook and ereader are close enough in use case to use the same device thought. #eink #boox #supernote #ereader #kobo #pocketbook
My Supernote Manta has arrived, and I looooove it already. There's a lot of gestures I need to figure out but it's a wonderful device
I fricken LOVE the Supernote e-paper tablet for writing... AND I love Obsidian for my knowledge management!
