Erste Versuche, da geht noch was da geht noch was, das sieht noch zu sehr nach Instagramfilter aus; aber dieses über 25 Jahre alte Scannerungetüm an aktueller Hardware wieder zum Leben zu erwecken is schon ganz nice. Eine sahnige Raumschiffgeräuschkulisse hat das Ding.

<2min bei 600dpi, A4 komplett, Kunststoffleinwand, der verfärbte vertikale Streifen ist im Material. Poster vermutlich von Yiruhe

Zum Wegwerfen denk ich echt bissl zu schade das Ding.

Ich verzweifele an #sane unter #linuxmint #lsusb zeigt den/die #Scanner an, sane, xsane und sane-find-scanner sehen aber nix. sudo ändert auch nichts daran. User ist in den Gruppen saned und scanner. Habe jetzt insgesamt (inkl. Beschaffung eines Canon Lide 220 als Ersatz für den schlechter unterstützten Lide 90) sieben Stunden ins Thema versenkt und komme nicht weiter.

That is insane.

Workaround/Fix: Switch to #Linux, or at least use #SANE under #WSL (NOTE: Command line use required). Or wipe machine and install #Windows10.

Anybody, know gets slightest of #discomfort while #reading the conversation in the below #article, you are still #sane.
