I’d give it 6/10, but part of that is remembering all of the excitement when it first came out.

It IS kind of slow compared to today’s movies, but in 1979, we needed that fly-around of the Enterprise.

Also, I’d say that today’s movies are too much “flash-and-explosions” and not enough world-building and storytelling.

#TNG season 3 is another good place to start. Or the first or last episodes of the second season of #DS9. Or the start of #VOY or even #PRO. #SNW would even work. Or #TheOrville!
