Joomla will celebrate its 20th birthday next month, on August 17 to be precise. 20 years of working together to make every new version the best Joomla ever, 20 years of enabling people to learn, contribute and rise up above themselves, 20 years of community, friendship and freedom. That calls for a celebration. But actually, the Joomla Community Magazine is doing that every month.

So I have created a workaround in my own plugin (and man do I hate duplicate code): reintroduced the onDisplay, onCheckAnswer events in the plugin where the Joomla manual says that is not needed.... it is (not if you are living in a perfect world...).
I hate building in these (what feels like) hacks, as with every added exception there is the possibility of a (security) issue.
If anyone from the #joomla dev community would like to discuss, I would really like that (no... I'm not on Matter :))

Refactored my #joomla ochCaptcha plugin to the new Provider interface. Turns out that when extensions call the plugin via triggered events that new Provider interfaced plugin will not work anymore... works perfectly in Joomla core, but not e.g. on Kunena. Already did a PR to the Kunena repository to get that 'fixed' but can image that when I release this plugin I might be in for a lot of issues with other extensions...
I was hoping that Joomla core would have a 'failsafe' for this :(
