Python data and variable types

I am a great believer in “blog your homework”. By homework, I mean (in this case) what I am learning about Python for my visual novel. In addition to my learning, I have two friends who are or are about to start using Python. This is a primer for all (3) of us.

Those who know their Python are invited to chip in if I missed anything or got something wrong. I’m here to learn too. There may be […]

The author shows how you a use #bash and #eval function to metaprogram functions which they can reuse.

It's really interesting approach, but I would probably not do it this way and write code which is reusable by #environment #variables supplied to a set of #functions.

Basically, there would be active profile which I would load with `source` command and commands would not have their prefixes.

Quick #Figma #variables tip I’ve started doing in every project to make my life a little easier:

When you have variables set up for spacing (or anything, really) and you need to change the value to 0, it’s super annoying having to go in and delete the variable and type 0.

So, instead, set yourself up a variable called “none” and you’ll save yourself a couple of clicks every time you need to remove the spacing.
