Texas Senate considers whether college students without legal status in U.S. should receive financial aid

State Sen. Mayes Middleton, the Galveston Republican who authored Senate Bill 1798, says it would amend state law so that students without legal status — including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) recipients — would also have to pay out-of-state tuition rates to attend universities or colleges in Texas.

"Wedding Bell Blues" is a song written and recorded by #LauraNyro in 1966. The best known version was a number one hit for #the5thDimension in 1969. The lyrics are written from the perspective of a woman whose boyfriend has not yet #proposed to her, and who wonders, "am I ever gonna see my wedding day?" The song carries dual themes of adoring love and frustrated lament. The title subsequently became a popular phrase in American pop culture.

It's a little too long for me to day hike, but if I ever decided I run, I might go for it, now that the community forest and easement are actual. Most of it is "flat"!
